SKRIPSI ANALISIS TEBAL PERKERASAN KAKU RUNWAY PADA YOGYAKARTA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
Yogyakarta International Airport (YIA) is an international airport located in Kulon Progo, Special Region of Yogyakarta. YIA Airport has various infrastructure to support air operations in the form of both commercial and non-commercial flights, one of which is the runway. Runways are designed to support aircraft loads optimally and safely throughout their service life. This research aims to analyze and compare the thickness of rigid pavement on the runway at YIA Airport. Planning for the thickness of rigid pavement on the runway uses four methods, namely California Bearing Ratio (CBR), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Load Classification Number (LCN), and Design & Maintenance Guide 27 (DMG 27) with 20 years of planning, namely from 2027 to 2046. The data used includes the CBR value of the subgrade, aircraft wheel configuration, aircraft characteristics, annual flight traffic, K-350 concrete quality, and concrete flexural strength values. The percentage data for the original soil CBR value uses a laboratory CBR value percentage of 6%. The results of the analysis on the YIA Airport runway showed that the total thickness of the CBR method rigid pavement was 508 mm with a concrete slab thickness of 270 mm. For the FAA method it is 711 mm with a concrete slab thickness of 513 mm. The LCN method is 400 mm with a concrete slab thickness of 300 mm. Meanwhile, the DMG 27 method obtained 475 mm with a Pavement Quality Concrete thickness of 325 mm and Rolled Drylean Concrete thickness of 150 mm. The results of rigid pavement thickness planning show significant differences in thickness.
