SKRIPSI EXPLORING THE EFFECTIVENESS OF DIGITAL GAMES: AN EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON USING WORDWALL AND KAHOOT IN ENHANCING GRAMMAR PROFICIENCY OF SMA NEGERI 1 BANDONGAN STUDENTS
Grammar is crucial in all language skills. However, EFL students struggle with grammar in English classes. This is because traditional grammar instruction is still widely used, even though it is monotonous and not adapted to technology. Therefore, this study examines digital games to enhance grammar proficiency. This study aims to first, identify the significant difference between students taught using Wordwall and students taught using Kahoot. Second, it seeks to analyze the effectiveness of using Wordwall and Kahoot in enhancing the grammar proficiency of eleventh grade students at SMA Negeri 1 Bandongan. The method used in this study is quasi-experimental. The samples were students of class XI FC1 (36 students) as the experimental class and class XI FB1 (36 students) as the control class. The data were collected through pre-test (before treatment) and post-test (after treatment). The results of the Independent Sample t-Test analysis showed a sig. (2 tailed) 0.045
