SKRIPSI STRUKTUR KOMUNITAS MAKROZOOBENTOS SEBAGAI BIOINDIKATOR KUALITAS PERAIRAN DI SUNGAI BRANGKONGAN UNTUK BUDIDAYA IKAN NILA (Oreochromis niloticus)
ABSTRACT
MACROZOOBENTOS COMMUNITY STRUCTURE AS A BIOINDICATOR OF WATER QUALITY IN THE BRANGKONGAN RIVER FOR NILE TILAPIA CULTURE (Oreochromis niloticus) Putri Dwi Suhara1), Waluyo2), Shobrina Silmi Qori Tartila3) Program Studi Akuakultur, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Tidar Brangkongan River is located in Parakan District, Temanggung. Brangkongan River is used by the surrounding community as a place for fish culture, and community activities. A way to find out polluted river water is to use biota components that can be used as indicators to determine the amount of pollutants in a body of water, one of which is macrozoobenthos. This study aimed to determine the water quality condition of brangkongan river for fish culture activite based on the water quality standar and makrozoobentos to the river based.The parameters measured include temperature, pH, DO, COD, BOD, TSS, and TDS. The makrozoobentos species found includes Tarebia granifera, Melanoides tuberculata, Tryonia clathrata, Clea Helena, Parathelphusa convexa. The diversity index value of 1.46 is included in moderate pollution with a density value of 31098.79 ind/m2 , a uniformity index of 0.82 and a dominance index of 0.25. The level of pollution seen from the type of macrozoobenthos found is included in the moderate pollution category. The water quality condition of the Brangkongan River is in the moderate pollution criteria with a score of -14 based on data analysis using the STORET method.
