SKRIPSI KARAKTER ANATOMI DAUN DAN POLONG BEBERAPA GENOTIPE KEDELAI (Glycine max (L.) Merr)
ABSTRACT
Characteristics of Leaf and Pods of Various Soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merr) Rahmatika Faizah Indriani rahmatika.faizah.indriani@students.untidar.ac.id Anatomical characterisation is carried out to determinate important plant properties that can become a database of anatomical characters for selection purposes in soybean plant breeding programs. This research aims to determine the anatomical characters (epidermis, palisade, stomata, and trichomes) of leaves along with trichomes on pods. The research was conducted from October 2024 to March 2025 at the experimental field of Tidar University at 340 m asl and Terpadu Laboratory Tidar University This research was arranged Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) consisting of 10 genotypes (G1, G2, G3, G4, G5, G6, G8, G9, G10, G11, G12) and 2 comparative varieties (Grobogan variety and Dega 1). The collected data were analyzed using ANOVA and followed by Duncan’s multiple range test (DMRT) to identify significant differences in the results. The results of the research indicate that there are 11 leaf anatomy characters and 4 pod anatomy characters that are influenced by the type of genotype, which consists of adaxial leaf stomatal density, abaxial leaf stomatal density, adaxial leaf stomatal length, epidermis thickness, palisade thickness, adaxial leaf trichome density, abaxial leaf trichome density, adaxial leaf trichome thickness, adaxial leaf trichome length, abaxial leaf trichome length, leaf trichome angle, pod trichome density, pod trichome thickness, pod trichome length, and pod trichome angle. DMRT analysis shows that some genotypes have similarities with the comparison varieties. The conclusion of this study is that the anatomical characters of leaves and pods are influenced by the types of genotypes.
