SKRIPSI KORELASI KARAKTER ANATOMI DAUN DAN POLONG BEBERAPA GENOTIPE KEDELAI (Glycine max (L.) Merril.)
ABSTRACT
Correlation of Leaf and Pod Anatomical Characters in Several Soybeans (Glycine max (L.) Merril.) Genotypes Eka Anidya Rizqiyah eka.anidya.rizqiyah@students.untidar.ac.id For the selection of soybean plants that was carried out simultaneously, the characteristics used as selection criteria were chosen based on the strength of their relationship with the desired characteristics. This study aimed to identify the anatomical characteristics of both leaves and pods, as well as the relationships between anatomical characteristics in soybean genotypes. The research was conducted from October 2024 to March 2025 in Mertoyudan District, Magelang Regency, Central Java, at an altitude of 340 m asl. This study employed a Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) factorial non-factorial consisting of 9 lines (G1, G2, G3, G4, G5, G6, G7, G8, G9) and 3 comparison varieties (Anjasmoro, Deja 1, and Dering 1). Data were analyzed using ANOVA and further tested with DMRT. The strength of the relationship between anatomical characteristics was determined by correlation analysis. The results indicated that the genotype of soybean plants affected the anatomical characteristics of leaf stomatal density, leaf trichome density, length and thickness of leaf trichomes, angle of leaf trichomes, trichome density on pods, and thickness of pod trichomes. Trichome shape characters showed the same result in all genotypes, namely needleshaped. Correlation analysis showed 24 positive correlations and 11 negative significant or very significant correlations. Principal component analysis showed that 12 characters gave significant contribution to the total variation of the soybean genotypes.
