Abstraction

The rapid growth of tourism industry in Yogyakarta, especially art and cultural tourism, makes the Adisutjipto Airport becomes a very important entrance gate in Yogyakarta. The process demands a mobility with a high speed level and optimal accuracy and comfort. Some accidents that happen recently in the landing strip of Adisutjipto Airport become one of the considerations ie doing evaluations to the capability of landing strip available to serve air traffic in the future. In this final assignment, the study is done by analyzing the work of landing

strip to serve the air traffic until 2011, so that the plane B-737-400 can operate optimally. Design methods used here are CBR,FAA and LCN methods. Air traffic prediction can be estimated by using the plane movement trend analysis from the annual traffic data of Adisutjipto Airport between 1999-2001. From the analysis, we can estimate the plane movement prediction until 2011. Landing strip analysis is done only on the aspect of hard flexible layer, so that by using plane movement prediction in 2011 we can determine the level of landing strip capability from each of
