SKRIPSI EVALUASI PERKERASAN JALAN TUMENGGUNG JOGONEGORO PADA RUAS JALAN WONOSOBO-SELOKROMO KABUPATEN WONOSOBO
ABSTRAK
Tumenggung Jogonegoro Street, which is a part of national-class road located in Wonosobo was first up-graded in 2002, since its first improvement In 1987. The up-grade included widening, from 'two-lane two-way' to four-lane two-way'. Yet, the road's existing condition has significantly diminished within 2 years, marked by some 'deformation', 'hair cracks, alligator cracks', 'pot holes. and 'wearing out' on its surface. Furthermore, as road relatively decreased, its function as intercity route lessend.
Within this context, the study attemps to evalute the reconstruction, particularly on its design and planning. This research emphasizes on the latest road condition, comparing to that when planned and designed in 2002. The evaluation use Bina Marga Method and Benkelman Beam Method, where the former concentrates on the planning, analysis and the latter focuses on both existing and post-reconstruction condition.
The survey result suggest that there was an inaccuracy during both the planning and the reconstruction process. Based on two methods mentioned above, the quatitative field-data indicates that the rebound-deflection's rate of is too high, resulting in the surface damages and unpleasant condition of Street Tumenggung Jogonegoro for the passengers. The study also reveals the poor quality of pavement, particulary on the layar thickness. But the most significant finding of the study is that the road needs to be totally redesigned and reconstructed to serve as a national-class road.
