SKRIPSI PENGARUH SAAT PEMBERIAN SP36 TERHADAP HASIL BEBERAPA VARIETAS TANAMAN PARE (Momordica Charantia L.)

ABSTRACT

The experiment about the effect of time application of SP36 on yield of some varieties of bitter gourd (Momordica charantia L.) had been done since August 10th until October 31th, 2003 in Sirat Village, Mungkid District, Magelang Regency. The altitude is 350 m. The kind of soil is regosol with pH 6,5.

The method of experiment is split plot (3x3) with randomized completely block design and three replications. The first factor is kind of variety, as main plot: Siam 71, Bitter Gourd Dark Panther and Isabel 196. The second factor is time application of SP36, as sub plot: one, two and three times.

The result shows that Siam 71 variety produces the most number of fruits per plant and the heaviest weight of fruits per plant. Isabel 196 variety produces the longest fruit. The differences time of application of SP36 do not affect all observed parameters. Different times of application of SP36 on each variety give regular yield.
