SKRIPSI STUDI ANALISIS ARUS TRANSIENT STARTING MOTOR INDUKSI TIGA FASA ROTOR SANGKAR DENGAN MATLAB
ABSTRACT
Electric motor plays dominant roles in industrial sectors, especially for three phase squirrel cage rotor induction motor. It was important to learning the identifications and characteristics of its motor, so the motor failure could be prevented. The operation three phase squirrel cage rotor induction motor when it starts or current-breaker will caused the transition condition, energized the induction motor when it loaded or unloaded, affectingly very huge energy of transitional current. To calculate current value on its condition was by count it in manually and simulating with matlab-simulink software. The result of it, indicates, in slip (s) equals to 1 overshoot current 2.4A valued, with steady state time 2500 seconds. In s equals to 0,5, no overshoot current valued in steady state time 500 seconds. In s equals to 0.01 no overshoot current valued in steady state time 250 seconds. So by making starting connection between Y/A, the beginning current will smaller. By starting connection and calculations, we will know the characteristics of motor.
