SKRIPSI PENGARUH PANJANG STEK DAN MACAM TANAH TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN BIBIT JARAK PAGAR (Jatropha cursa, L)

ABSTRACT
An experiment of the effect of cuttage length and kind of soil on growth of Jatropha curcas, L. had been done since June 7 until August 10, 2007 in Candirejo Nursery Semarang Regency. The altitude is 310 meters; with some of soil kind latosol, grumosol and regosol.
The method of experiment is factorial (3x3) with randomized completely design and three replications. The first factor is cuttage length: 20, 25 and 30 cm. The second factor is kind of soil: latosol, grumosol and rego sol.
The analysis result shows that the increasing length of cuttage until 30 cm still able to increasing leaves number, fresh weight and dry weight of shoots, roots length, number of roots, fresh weight and dry weight of roots linearly. The heavier fresh weight of shoots, longer roots and heavier dry weight of roots gave at regosol and grumosol soil. The increasing of cuttage length at different soil kind shows the same respon on all parameters.
