PEMANFAATAN LIMBAH KULIT KERANG SEBAGAI BAHAN SUBSTITUSI AGREGAT KASAR UNTUK PAVING BLOCK

The natural wealth of oysters in coastal areas sikucing Kendal District Weleri very abundant and waste a lot of shells used in the construction of the building by the community, because they were considered high quality. It is proved that many shells are used as concrete material. By looking at the growing conditions in the community and the importance of the quality of mortar as a building construction material support, the researchers want to present data on the quality of Block Paving with a mixture of shell material as a coarse aggregate substitute material. The purpose of this study to identiy the quality of Paving Block with a mixture of shell material taken from the TPI beach area Sikucing Weleri, Kendal District.
