The study entitled "Analysis of the Effect of Education and Family Count on Poor
Family in Tamanagung Village Muntilan Subdistrict of Magelang Regency in 2016. The
purpose of this research is to examine the influence of education and family dependent on
poor families, either partially or simultaneously.
Data needed in this research is primary data with observation method. In writing
this essay authors take research data at the Head Office of Tamanagung Village and the
community who live in Tamanagung Village Muntilan District Magelang District.
The analysis used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis which is
used to know the influence of education and family dependent on poor family. The variables
in the study consist of education and family dependent as independent variable and poor
family as dependent variable.
Based on the results of research and data analysis can be expressed education
negatively affect the poor families which means that when respondents have a high education
then the poverty will be smaller than the people with low education, low education owned by
someone, then the person can not work in the sector And while living costs are not covered
by family income. Family dependence has a positive and meaningful effect on poor families
which means that when the family dependents get bigger, it will create poverty in an
individual community environment.
Education and dependents of families together have a positive and meaningful
effect on poor families. Changes of poor families caused by education and family dependents
of 45.40% and the rest influenced by other variables outside of the studied. Other variables
that can affect poor families include skills.
