SKRIPSI ANALISIS POTENSI PEREKONOMIAN DI PROVINSI DAERAH ISTIMEWA YOGYAKARTA TAHUN 2012-2016

The purpose of this research is to know the basic sectors or superior which have a
comparative advantage in each regency/city, and also caused by a superior
potenty that had not been optimally used in potencial sectors which can faster the
Special Region of Jogjakarta Province economic growth. The data used is the
secondary data during 2012-206. The source come from The Special Region of
Jogjakarta BPS and regency/city BPS. The method used in this analysis is the
method of LQ (Location Quotient), MRP (Growth Ratio) and overlay. The results
indicate that in the district/city do have each potential in based on the situation
and condition. The LQ analysis result shows the dominant economic sectors in
three regency/city, which is: agriculture, forestry and fishing, mine sector and
excavation, industries sector, procurement sector, water sector, waste
management, waste and recycling, large and retail trade, repair of cars and
motorcycles, the sector providing accommodation and sustenance, sectors of
government administration, defence and compulsory social security, other service
sectors. MRP analysis result shows the dominant growth of economic sectors is in
four regencies/cities which is large and retail trades, vehicles reparations, the
information and communication sectors, financial and insurance services,
education services and other service sectors. Overlay analysis show that potential
economic sectors based on the criteria of the growth and contributions at three
regencies/cities are big trading and retail sectors, vehicle reparations.
