SKRIPSI STRATEGI PENGEMBANGAN WILAYAH KECAMATAN SEBAGAI PUSAT PERTUMBUHAN EKONOMI KABUPATEN KEBUMEN
The goals of this research are to find out which sub-districts are the centers
of economic growth, the interaction between the sub-districts as the centers of
economic growth and the hinterland sub-districts, typology, sectorial basic, and
the competitiveness level of each economic growth center sub-districts in
Kebumen Regency. The methods used for accumulating the data are literature
review and interview. Meanwhile, the analyses used are based on regional and
sectorial approach. The analyses used for regional approach are scalogram and
centrality index, gravity, and klassen typology. Location Quotient and Shift Share
Classic analyses are for sectorial approach. Based on the result of research, there
are five sub-districts as the center of economic growth such as Ayah, Buayan,
Prembun, Kebumen, and Gombong. The interactions between the center subdistricts and the hinterland sub-districts are different. Most sub-districts in
Kebumen Regency are progressive and rapidly growing, but some of them are still
in the suppressed and relatively lagging area. Every sub-district has different
sectorial basics, but the most dominant are other service sectors; mining and
excavation; water supply and recycling; financial services; information and
communication. All of them have different growth and competitiveness level. The
conclusion of this research is that there are five sub-districts as the centers of
economic growth which interact with the surrounding sub-districts, and every sub
district has different conditions, sectorial basics, and the level of growth and
competitiveness. Regional development efforts are continuously conducted by
local governments through a series of synergistic and sustainable policies,
programs and funding sources to realize regional development objectives.
However, from the result of evaluation, there are some problems that must be
solved with some planned, synergistic, and sustainable policies and programs.
